Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – For the third year running, the best Nordic hedge funds were recognised and awarded at the Nordic Hedge Award in Stockholm.
In the category ”Best Nordic CTA”, the Swedish CTA Lynx Asset Management was announced as winner. This followed on an exceptional year where their main fund gained 27.6 %, outperforming major industry benchmarks by a wide margin. Last year, Lynx ended second only in this category to Norwegian Warren Capitals Warren Short Term Trading Program.
In second place came Swedish IPM (Informed Portfolio Management) with IPM Systematic Macro Fund. The program had a standout year in 2014 delivering a return of 14.8 %.
In third place came SEB Asset Selection Opportunistic, the higher leveraged version of the Swedish SEB Asset Selection Fund. The fund performed exceptionally well in a good year for CTA strategies posting a net gain of 33.4 %.
